2020 Covid-19 Protocol

  • The number of scheduled sessions is reduced so that there is time to clean the entire environment between one and the other service.

  • Do not enter the office if there is a patient is leaving immediately.

  • About the service location :

    • In the service room where the carpet cannot be removed, a vacuum will be passed between one service and another, and every day a damp cloth in a solution of water and acetic acid.

    • Natural ventilation, with doors and windows open whenever possible

    • Even so, the client will receive foot protection so as not to come in direct contact with the floor at any time.

    • The bathroom will be cleaned at each service.

    • At the access sanitization site for customers there will be a sign with instructions for correct hand hygiene

    • At the sanitizing access point for clients there will be a jar of alcohol gel available, in addition to liquid soap

  • From the personal care of the attending therapist:

    • Coats, clothes and fabrics that cannot be discarded will be subjected to double washes with washing powder that have peracetic acid in their composition, and if possible a small dose of sodium peroxide

    • The attending therapist must change the mask and lab coat at each appointment.

    • The therapist should wash hands with soap and water, then clean with 70% alcohol gel before and after each appointment.

    • The WHO recommends that resistant or non-disposable gloves and plastic aprons should be cleaned with soap and water and after decontaminated with 0.5% sodium hypochlorite solution.

    • Goggles and face shields must be exclusive and cleaned immediately after use and disinfected with 70% liquid alcohol (if the material is compatible), sodium hypochlorite or other disinfectant in the concentration recommended by the manufacturer

    • Nitrile or latex gloves and disposable aprons must be discarded after each use and not reused.

  • Furniture hygiene:

    • If the furniture was used and came into direct contact with the customer, it will be cleaned with bleach solutions, disinfectants and finally 70% alcohol.

    • The step of the gurney access step receives a disposable TNT cover, which is also changed at each service.

    • If the furniture was not used directly, wet cloths with 70% algol will be applied

    • Between one and the other session, 0.1% sodium hypochlorite can be used in the furniture, in addition to 70% alcohol.

    • At the end of the day, a 10% sodium hypochlorite cleaning, in addition to 70% alcohol.

  • Of the objects and equipment used in the room:

    • Most towels have been replaced by semi-disposable wipes, as they absorb like cloths, but must be discarded after each service.

    • The sheets of cloth for the stretcher were all replaced by sheets of TNT, placed in the presence of the client and discarded after service.

    • All pillows, support supports and fittings are protected by TNT, which is disposable after use.

    • On cold days, a single sheet or blanket is used for each client and removed from the room right after the service to be sent to the laundry.

    • The aromatizer that contains ionizing action continues to be used, because "artificial air ionization destroys more than 90-98% of all bacteria tested, both in bacilli and experiments"

    • However, the demineralized water used with essential oils in the aromatizer during the session will be completely discarded and the appliance will be cleaned.

    • Bowls and spatulas, as well as all non-autoclavable objects, should be washed with enzymatic detergent.

    • Small, intimate hygiene plastic objects can be sterilized in a steam sterilizer suitable for the function, similar to bottle sterilizers.

    • Cloth, rubber or plastic objects and even some small electronic equipment can be sterilized in Ultra Violet Ozonizing Light booths

    • Work with hot stones is suspended, as the hygiene process does not reach 100 ° and sterilization is not guaranteed.

  • Personal objects of the client:

    • There must be a place for the client to leave personal items.

    • The client is asked not to support personal objects and clothes on the sofa, but on tables and chairs that can be immediately cleaned with 70% alcohol.

    • Customers who already own or still intend to purchase stone yoni eggs for intimate personal use will receive recommendations and recommended protocols for increased hygiene and care. However, I am recommending the use of Kegel balls while the current pandemic situation has not yet achieved a favorable outcome.

    • The customer must exercise extreme care when handling cash notes and card machines to make payment. Wear gloves.

    • Before handling the cell phone again, the customer can request a cleaning of the cell phone, with disposable cloths and isopropyl alcohol solution (used in electronic equipment and therefore does not damage the material).
